FAURE Thierry

Thierry Faure est Maître de Conférences Hors Classe, qualifié aux fonctions de Professeur des Universités en 60e section.
 
Après une thèse de Doctorat en Acoustique à l’École Centrale de Lyon, il a été enseignant-chercheur à l’Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Sorbonne Université), et a obtenu une Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches en Sciences pour l’Ingénieur.
 
Ses activités de recherche au CREA portent sur les méthodes numériques discrètes, les instabilités et la dynamique tourbillonnaire. Thierry Faure enseigne l’aérodynamique à l’École de l’air et de l’espace, il est responsable du Master « Sciences de l’Ingénieur » depuis 2017 et il est membre du Conseil de Formation de l’Officier de l’École de l’air et de l’espace.
 
Il est régulièrement rapporteur pour des revues scientifiques internationales à comité de lecture, et a été plusieurs fois expert pour le HCERES.
 
Il est chevalier de l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques.
